In dogs the following diseases can be controlled by these vaccines:
Distemper: This virus affects the respiratory, digestive, and nervous system.
Hepatitis: This liver disease is a virus.

In cats:
Feline panleukopenia(feline distemper):The most widespread of all cat diseases, and is extremely contagious. It causes fever, appetite loss, vomiting and diarrhea. It has a high death loss especially in kittens.
Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis (FVR): A highly contagious respiratory disease.
Feline Calcivirus (FCV): Another highly contagious respiratory disease. Often occuring simultaneouslywith feline viral rhinotracheitis.
Feline Leukemia: Is a viral infection that can take many forms. Some cats can have very few ill effects, others it could have fatal effects.
Why should I neuter my pet?
Unless you aim to breed your pet, you should neuter your pet. It prevents pregnancy in females and undesirable behavior in males. A female should be spayed before she enters estrus (heat) which is usually around 6 months of age. For a female dog they have a cycle twice a year. In female cats they can come into heat several times a year. In male cats and dogs it will stop them from straying, aggesive behaviors, and marking territory.
Why should I keep my pet on heartworm preventive?
Heartworms are deadly and one of the most common parasites in canines, they have also been found in felines. Heartworm disease spreads when mosquitos bite an infected dog and then pass the disease along to other animals. Since mosquitoes get indoors, both dogs and cats are at risk. Symptoms include vomiting, coughing, difficulty breathing, lethargy, weight loss, collapse or convulsion, even sudden death.
